Celebrate NYE at Varga Bar

The Seaport Museum keeps its doors open late for its Family New Year’s Eve party. Visitors will have access to the Seaport’s second floor balcony overlooking the Delaware, a perfect sightline for the 6 p.m. fireworks show. Disney on Ice: Lets Celebrate!
Featuring classic and contemporary Disney songs (and more than 50 live Disney characters!), the world famous Disney On Ice is a frosty but fun New Year’s Eve treat for the whole family. New Year’s Eve at the Piazza
The Piazza in NoLibs rolls out its annual NYE celebration, one of the biggest in the city. Xfinity Live! Celebration NYE 2014

A Pop Muzik New Years Eve at the Dolphin
The legendary South Philly dive has undergone some pretty extensive changes, and this year hosts an ‘80s throwback NYE dance party. Philly music stalwart (and required presence at any official ‘80s appreciation event) DJ Robert Drake spins new wave hits and rough cuts all night. New Jersey punk trio Screaming Females dominate at Johnny Brenda’s New Year’s bash this year. New Years Eve at the Boot and Saddle
R5 Productions’ newest outpost on South Broad presents a NYE bluegrass and country bonanza. Hard-driving local bluegrassers the Highwater Preachers are joined by honky-tonk heroes Red Skiles & the Country Ramblers for a night of finger-pickin’ fun.
