Frisky Fridays Striptease Aerobics
After an hour of intense dirty dancing, you’ll have a chance to socialize, snack and maybe even take in a few demonstrations from a local female-owned business. Each class offers a new routine and surprises. Next up: a raunchy chair routine. Every fourth Friday of the month, 7pm. $10. The Arts Parlor, 1170 S. Broad St. phillydancefitness.com
Intro to Aerials

In the comfort of other beginners and the guidance of a trained professional, explore the wild world of contemporary arts via the rope, fabric and static trapeze. Sundays, 5:45pm. $25. Urban Defense Martial Arts
Unlike your normal self-defense class, urban defense combines the techniques of ancient and traditional martial arts to create a practical system of defense against today’s street crime. This training will enable you to protect yourself not only against a single attacker, but multiple attackers. And with the first week of classes offered for free, you really have far more to gain than loose. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm; Saturdays, 11am. $20-$95. Urban Defensive Center, 725 N. Sixth St. 267.974.0287. phillyurbandefense.com

Let’s Move! Wacky Walk
OK, so technically this is meant for kids, but when do you get a chance to walk while imitating animals and doing the hokey pokey? Based on First Lady Michelle Obabma’s “Let’s Move!” campaign to raise a healthier generation of kids, this is pretty much the most fun you’ll have while taking a scenic stroll. Feb. 4 and March 3, 10:30am. $7-$16. Morris Arboretum, 100 E. Northwestern Ave. morrisarboretum.org
West Philly Hoop Jam
Remember the good ol’ days when you could hula-hoop all through recess? Well, this is sorta like that, only you’ll get to do it for two straight hours with other hoopers. If you’ve never been able to keep a hula on your hips, consider taking the Tuesday night intermediate hoop dancing class. Before you know it you’ll be doing step-throughs, jumps and even hoop on a vertical plane. Friendly strangers and hoops are provided. Second Sundays, 7:30pm. $5. Studio 34, 4522 Baltimore Ave. 215.387.3434. studio34yoga.com
Israeli Dancing
Held virtually every Sunday through June, this informal, friendly group is always happy to welcome new dancers. Though their repertoire consists mainly of intermediate dances, each session begins with easy dances with an emphasis on instruction and review. Sundays, 10am. $5. Germantown Jewish Centre, 400 W. Ellet St. germantownjewishcentre.org

“The Philly Urban Defense looks like a good company. I went on their website and they have some good testimonials. Their Tai-Fit program looks like the class I would take out of all the ones they offer. I know some people think stuff like this is stupid but I always liked classes like these, they remind of tai-bo. (I like tai bo, I don't care what anyone says, its fun).
