Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar has reopened and is already back to doing its thong, er, thing. Bally’s will have a free concert series featuring Fuel on June 14, Howie Day on July 19, and the Sugar Hill Gang on July 27. It’ll also have the following themed nights: Industry Night Sunday, Latin Night Monday, Special Guest Tuesday, Reggae Night Wednesday, Rockstar Karaoke Thursday, Rock ‘n’ Roll Friday and Top-40 Saturday.

The A.C. marina district’s beach-bar counterpart, The Deck at Golden Nugget, features two large canopied bars, a covered stage with an open dance floor that backs up to Farley State Marina, and an adjacent open area for special events such as the Bubba Gump Shrimp Festival in late summer, and Oktoberfest weekend in early fall. With a full food-and-drink menu, specials and live entertainment, we see no good reason to leave.

And with the storm now long gone, we’ve got every reason to stay. We’ll see you at the beach, Philly! / RAY SCHWEIBERT
