Liberty

Hello, 1911 E. Passyunk Ave. 215.755.0444. hellohair@live.com

"Hello is the anti-salon. I want people to feel comfortable in here. I want it to be like a nice living room where people don't even need to get their hair done, they can just stop by and say, 'Hello.' Most salons are very in-and-out. I want people to hang out with me and entertain me for the day. We've only been open a short time and the response has been amazing. We do all hair services. Everything is by consultation. I really believe in sitting down and talking to someone before we get into doing anything. It's better for me as an artist to understand you, because then we can understand where we can go from there. I'm very blunt and honest. I'm trying to do my best and make you as beautiful as you can be. It's my job to let you know if it's going to work or not. I'm huge on education. I think everyone should walk out of here knowing how to fix your hair exactly the way I fixed it, so you can represent me as a stylist, and look as good as possible."

“Liberty is awesome. She was my main woman when she was in Portland and she never did my hair wrong in the 5 years she worked with me. In fact, she is one of the only people I knew who could cut curly hair without making it lose too much length. Besides hair, she's got a great sense of humor, she's a wonderful conversationalist, and this Philly salon sounds like a true manifestation of her personality and ambition.”
