“While I love that there's a media write-up for the Mr. Philly Drag King pageant, I feel like readers might be confused as to the nature of the event. Drag KINGS are different from Drag QUEENS. A King generally won't wear fishnets or shave his legs or wear a feminine wig. Drag Kings are to masculinity what Drag Queens are to femininity. We dress as men, though most of us are female-identified or female-bodied.
