Philly’s AIDS infection rate is five times the national average, and so in an effort to raise awareness and combat this frightening trend, Bar AIDS Philadelphia will debut Thursday.
For decades Philly’s tow-truck industry has operated with rampant impunity and is riddled with tales of operators towing cars at will; charging motorists exuberant fees; and wild, aggressive tow drivers, known as wreck chasers, racing through the city looking for work.
This small-scale romance lightly but confidently peers into Arab-American relations. On one hand is utopia: Juliette and Tareq never once see a socio-political reason not to fall in love. Still, the rest of the world isn’t quite as perfect.
