A look at SEPTA's never-ending delays in plan funding and contracts and how it spends what little money it has, gives us no indication that a shift into modernity is coming any time soon. And though the authority’s decisions are often clouded in secrecy, it’s probably a lot further away than SEPTA cares to admit.
Pat Tillman was a natural propaganda figure, a smart, good-looking jock who turned his back on a starting position for the Arizona Cardinals to enlist in the military shortly after 9/11. Tillman was killed during a friendly-fire clusterfuck in which at least one of his compatriots still insists involved no enemy combatants whatsoever, but that isn’t what many would have you believe.
